MASSIVE Photo Update

Hello! I am sorry for my lack of updating! I went on a vacation to Florida, where I had no internet, then went to university, where I had to set up my own internet, which took a while. Rather than bore you with what has been going on, I will assault your eyes with many, many photos! A proper fashion post should be here tomorrow!

Anime Iowa!

Hello! This past weekend I got to go to Anime Iowa with my friends! Anime Iowa is a fairly large anime convention in, well, Iowa. Every year, we unleash our nerdy side and dress up! It's a blast! This year, my friend and I dressed up as characters from the show Fate/Stay Night! I was Ilya (the blonde in the photos) and she was Rider (the one with long, purple hair). Feel free to google the characters for a look at what we were aiming for! Our other friend didn't go as somebody from the show, but instead went in Steampunk fashion, including a wonderful corset! Below are a few photos! I already am counting down to next year!

Victorian Love

I love anything about the Victorian era... and that's exactly what this outfit reminds me of! The frilly shirt, the lacey skirt, and the cameo just make it a modern victorian ensemble!

Candles Should Inspire All

Saw these shoes in Vogue this month and instantly fell in love. They're Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte.

I personally love candles! There's just something almost mystic about them! This is a photo I took in the cathedral in Salamanca.

House On The Rock

This place was so crazy! The house was really built on a rock... it incorporated the nature perfectly! There was also an amazing museum! They had everything from suits of armor (above) to scale-models of circuses to a myriad of automated music players!

A fully automatic orchestra! The instruments really play!

I took over 400 photos in one day here! If you're even in Wisconsin, make an effort to go here. It was worth the steep admission price (although, as short as I am, they charged me the 17-and-under price, tehe)!

Back From Wisconsin!

Sorry for the long break, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to connect to our hotel's wireless internet! Anyway, I went to Wisconsin for a quick trip with my parents! I took so many photos! Here are some from the trip!

Star Wars In Concert

Last night, I went to see Star Wars In Concert! I personally had never seen any of the movies, but just in case some of you are fans, I thought I'd post some photos.

The whole experience was very good, even for a non-fan like me! The guy who voiced C3PO narrated the entire thing, and did a very classy job. They also had a ton of exhibits to look at in the lobby, although in all honesty, it was more fun watching all of the fans in costume mill about.

Not the best photos in the world, but it was very crowded, so I just snapped quick photos to let the true fans through!

Otherwise, yesterday was a crazy day! I drove 6-hours round-trip to school to spend all of four hours there! As soon as I got home, I went to the concert, then I was so exhausted that I pretty much just went to bed! Trying to catch up on a few things today... probably a run to the library is necessary.
